Surely no one has told you, but sometimes a major intervention in your home is not necessary to change the appearance of your terrace, garden or balcony.
We are going to explain you how we advise our clients when we talk about exterior projects in attics, terraces or in large gardens working on landscaping.
We always recommend working on a project, whether it is of a larger or smaller scale, since this will help us to have clear ideas between both parts, obtain the desired design and not have extras in the execution.
1. VEGETATION
No matter the size of the space, good vegetation will always help to obtain a warm environment.
If you are not one to maintain them or you think that they do not last long enough, the trick is to have a good irrigation system. Forget about having to water, unless you are a plant lover.
Another detail to take into account is that not all plants are suitable and that is that depending on where you are, we will advise you on some options or others. Even if you like them flavored or not, with flower or without.
This element will not only help change the look, but can also help you as a shade element or even privacy.
2. ARTIFICIAL GRASS
This is ideal for when we find terraces or balcony with excessive tiling, or small terraces to which you want to give warmth, but without taking up space like a planter or flower pot.
Currently and in our case, we use antistatic artificial grass that has an incredible recovery when it comes to stepping on it and placing furniture on it, which works at different heights and up to five colors to achieve a natural effect.
Although it is not one of our favorite options, in the case of large gardens you can obtain a quick result that you will not have to maintain since it will always look perfect.

3. GRAVELS OR BULLES
Ideal for creating textured and colored flower beds, when we find large spaces where you already play with vegetation, creating a pattern that highlights these elements will not only help the final appearance of the garden but also save the final budget.

4. TEXTILES
Textiles are one of the most interesting parts of a project, surely you haven’t planned it, but if you don’t like the look of your home’s flooring with a rug, you can give it a quick, easy change without work.
In the case of furniture that you think is still useful, just by changing the cushion covers your guests will think they are new.
And if we talk about looking for an intimate corner to enjoy alone or in company, you can even complement it with curtains that are prepared to resist both rain and sun.
5. COATINGS
This last point may already have involved a little more effort, but there are elements that allow you unique designs, such as the platform. It is a very warm element that can be applied to walls or floors, that is if it has to have functionality and design.
We currently work with textured synthetic flooring to simulate natural wood which you do not have to maintain and which will still look good over time. It allows you to create slats, planters, pergolas, everything will depend on how you want to approach the final design.
